Linda (Manager)

I have been working in childcare for the last 35 years. Initially I spent time at the nursery in a voluntary capacity, then working as a member of staff. I have progressed from being Deputy Manager to gaining the position of Manager for the last 18 years.

I am passionate,  enthusiastic and share a love of learning. I wish for all children to experience the best opportunities at nursery filled with joy, happiness, with a sense of achievement and supporting all children on their path of accomplishments.

I have also completed numerous online courses.

Jackie (Deputy Manager)

I have been doing my job for 27 years starting as a parents volunteer when my daughter started in 1994 which then lead to me getting a fulltime job. I became Deputy Manager in 1995.

I am very passionate about my job. It is very rewarding to see children learning and developing whilst they are in our care. The children start from a very shy 2 year old child, learning and developing confidence so they are then ready for their next chapter of life in school.

I gain a lot of information and knowledge doing regular online training courses and I love working as part of a wonderful team giving each other support.

Amy (SENCO)

I have a Level 3 CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education and I have been working with children for 17 years.

I have a Paediatric First Aid certificate, a Level 2 in Understanding Autism and many other courses that I have completed. I am also the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO) for the nursery and offer support to children with any additional needs including speech and language.

I love my job because I really enjoy watching the children grow and develop by giving each child the very best opportunities.
 

Sarah-Jane

I have been working with children for 11 years and I am now working towards my Childcare Degree. I have experience working with children with disabilities. I enjoy working in my nursery setting and helping to support children with their development as this can be very rewarding.

I have a NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, a Paediatric First Aid qualification and a Level 2 Food and Hygiene certificate. I am also trained in Safeguarding and I continue to gain more knowledge by doing online training courses.
 

Kelsea

I have worked with children for 10 years and I have a Level 3 CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education. I am a Paediatric First Aider and have a Level 2 Food and Hygiene certificate. I have had Safeguarding training and continue to gain more knowledge and understanding by doing online training courses.

I enjoy the responsibilities of helping and supporting children reaching their goals during their time at nursery.
 

Jo

Initially my daughter came to the nursery where I then started helping out and then went on to join the committee. I have worked at nursery for 15 years, slowly increasing my hours year by year. I now work mornings Monday – Friday.

I enjoy all aspects of my position  especially the settling in period which can be quite challenging but very rewarding. Every day brings a new challenge and I look forward to them.

I have qualifications in Safeguarding and a Paediatric First Aid certifcate. I also gain more qualifications by completing online courses regularly.
 

Lynette

I have 3 daughters who all came to this nursery. I spent some time on the committee and also spent some time as a volunteer. I have been working here for 4 years now and really love my job. I have a qualification in Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding and gain more information and knowledge by doing online courses. I really enjoy being part of a great team and take great pleasure in helping and watching the children grow and progress during their time with us.
